Fall Recap

What have the 2 little monkeys been up to this fall?  Here's a recap!

School began!  Anna started 1st grade...

and Jake started 4's in Preschool!

The library closed the last 2 weeks of summer to move to a new location and Jake was super excited when it re-opened.  I think we've been there everyday since...

After school lunch with Nana and Grand-dad Bob...

Back to school picnic at Anna's school...

Jake started soccer with Coach Dad...

and Anna started soccer with Coach Dad....

Anna was Student of the Day on 9/19/12 and Happy Birthday Aunt Jane!

Saturday morning giggles...

Jake found some stickers....

Celebrated Daddy's birthday by watching the Giants on October 14th...

Jake took some naps....

Watched a Varsity Girls soccer game at the high school (Anna was in AWE)

Jake figured out how to take a shower without getting water in his eyes....

went to a Teachers vs. Harlem Wizard Game  (AWESOME GAME!!!) 

Anna attended weekly soccer practices....

Anna got a haircut and new hair style....

and Mommy went back to her roots...

Momo and Bobo came to visit and enjoyed ice cream at Deborah Ann's...

Spiderman joined us at breakfast one morning...

Daddy and Anna enjoyed a square dance curtesy of Anna's Girl Scouts....

Anna the Cowgirl and Jake the Army Man went for a Halloween walk on Main Street...

went to a Halloween party where Jake was dressed as a mummy in toilet paper...

and Mommy and Daddy dressed as Sandy and Danny from Grease...

shortly after Halloween, we hunkered down in a hotel room to wait out Hurricane Sandy...

the week of no power left plenty of time to go swimming in the hotel pool and master our handstands under water....

thankful that all we lost was a tree in our front yard and our power...

Halloween was cancelled in our town, but Alvin the Chipmunk was able to squeak in (ha!) a quick celebration...before....

...this storm which left 7 inches of snow in town...

...but left a beautiful sunset the next day...

that weekend we made s'mores trail mix (mini marshmallows, golden grahams and chocolate chips!)

Enjoyed a yummy dinner playdate that left us exhausted on the drive home!

Jake went to school with Daddy the day before Thanksgiving break and enjoyed every minute...

Thanksgiving was spent at Nana and Granddad's, enjoying the beautiful weather and a backyard football game!  I believe Jake is committing some sort of foul here...

Decorated for Christmas on Saturday and enjoyed the last BBQ of the season...
