New York City

At the end of August, we enjoyed a trip to New York City...the first visit for Anna and Jake! We had a wonderful day filled with lots of firsts!

 The first first of the day...a tram ride with Auntie Karen!

First subway ride...(we covered all major modes of transportation!)

A trip to the Central Park Zoo...

Jake found the penguin house a wee bit stinky...

Spent some time watching the polar bear swimming...

Went to Mars for lunch...which Jake thought was the coolest!

After Mars, we played at an arcarde.  On a virtual ride...our faces are equal parts thrilled and scared...

A ride on the ferris wheel at Toys R Us...

Anna got the My Little Pony car on the ferris wheel...which made her day!

After a trip to the M&M store (best place on earth according to the kids), we finished the day with a visit to Dylan's Candy Bar for ice cream for dinner (the 2nd best place on earth).
