I turned 8 months yesterday! I am able to sit up all by myself now (except for the occasional tumble!) and I have learned that I can get around quite nicely using my tummy shuffle. Maybe I will try crawling soon--but for now, the tummy shuffle is the way to go! I also LOVE to hold onto the sides of my pack-and-play and peek over the top--its a whole new way to view the world!
